Interview practice
Run mock interviews with a friend, a coach or a question bank, and see a strong answer structure as each question comes up.
Live context. Clear guidance.
AI Interview Assistant listens along to your mock interview or meeting, reads the window you choose, and streams a concise plan — approach, trade-offs, a STAR outline — while you think out loud.
Nothing is captured until you start a session. Pause or stop in one click.
Live indicators for screen, call audio, mic and AI. It never hides from screen sharing.
History, transcripts and guidance stay local unless you export them.
AI keys live in Windows Credential Manager, never on our servers.
How it works
Add the role, the job description and a few notes about your experience. Pick the window to read — a coding pad, a whiteboard, slides — and your audio.
AI Interview Assistant transcribes the conversation, reads the text on the window you picked and spots questions on its own. You always see what it's capturing.
Concise guidance streams in as it's written. Read it, or hear it in your headphones. A newer question replaces the older answer automatically.
Guidance that fits
Prompt profiles shape tone, length and format. The built-in ones cover the questions you'll meet most, and you can write your own.
Back-of-the-envelope numbers, components and data flow, then the bottlenecks and trade-offs that show seniority.
Example guidance:
Design a URL shortener for about 10k new links a second, with 100× more reads.
Numbers
≈ 864M links a day · 7-character base62 = 3.5T codes, enough for five years
Components
Stateless API · ID ranges per node → base62 · key-value store by short code · cache for hot links
Trade-offs
ID ranges avoid collisions but need a coordinator; hashing is simpler but needs a collision check.
Built for
Run mock interviews with a friend, a coach or a question bank, and see a strong answer structure as each question comes up.
When the interviewer or organization allows AI assistance, keep it on screen and in the open.
Catch the questions aimed at you and answer clearly, with your own notes at hand.
Hear concise guidance read aloud, or type a question when speaking isn't an option.
Coaches run realistic sessions, then review the guidance and exported history with their clients.
Get suggested follow-up questions while you listen, so you can focus on the candidate.
Honest by design
AI Interview Assistant is for practice, coaching, meetings, accessibility and interviews where AI assistance is explicitly allowed. Everything it does is visible to you — and to anyone you share your screen with.
No capture before you press Start. Pause releases every device; Stop releases everything.
Screen, call audio, microphone, AI and speech each show their own live state.
No screen-share hiding, disguised windows or proctoring bypass. The overlay is an ordinary window.
Before each session you see which provider receives what, and you confirm it.
Privacy and AI
Credits are charged from the usage the provider reports. Failed requests are never charged.
Pricing
Every term includes the full app and every feature. Longer terms cost less per month.
Yes, when the interviewer or organization explicitly allows AI assistance. Otherwise, use it to practice. AI Interview Assistant doesn't hide from screen sharing or other apps, so it's always clear when it's running.
Not if your plan includes AI credits. You can also bring your own key for Ollama Cloud, an OpenAI-compatible provider or a local model; then your provider bills you directly.
Only what you choose, and only after you press Start: your microphone, the audio your PC plays, and the one window, monitor or region you select. Each has its own live indicator.
