Draft for professional review. This document is a draft prepared for legal review. It is not legal advice and must be finalized by qualified counsel before public launch.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the AI Interview Assistant desktop application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Authorized use

You may use the Service only for the authorized uses described in the authorized-use statement and the Acceptable Use Policy. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any interview, meeting, workplace, examination or platform you use the Service with, and with all applicable laws.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

The Service is provided under an account subscription with a term of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. There are no product keys or license files. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Prices, billing intervals and taxes are shown at checkout.

4. AI usage

With bring your own key (BYOK), you supply your own API key for an AI provider and that provider bills you directly; this usage is not part of the subscription. If your plan lists included AI credits, you may instead use Included Credits mode up to your monthly allowance: AI Interview Assistant uses approved external AI providers to process Included Credits requests, credits are charged from the usage those providers report, unused credits do not roll over, and failed requests are not charged. AI Interview Assistant does not own or operate the AI models used.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. See the refund and cancellation policy.

6. Your data

Capture data, history and guidance stay on your computer. The cloud backend stores account, subscription, usage and audit data only; Included Credits request content is relayed to the AI provider without being stored. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service for hidden cheating, unauthorized live-interview answer delivery, screen-share concealment, proctoring bypass, anti-detection or any covert use.

8. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may suspend or modify features. We will communicate material changes and provide a deprecation period where practical.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties and our liability is limited. The exact wording must be finalized by counsel.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified before they take effect.
